Our August café Saturday 3rd Aug 10.30/12oclock will be a little different.
We are raising funds for Granta School and the Beacon Trust, an organisation that supports young people in Linton and surrounds.
We’re hosting the café at 74 High Street West Wratting, in the garden (weather permitting) a warm welcome is offered to all, the usual delicious homemade cakes will be available and plus tea and fresh coffee, hopefully there will be an opportunity to wander around the garden.
West Wratting Café meets on the 1st Saturday of the month, I think we are in our 10th year running as a voluntary donation based gathering. Our August café will be a specific fund raising event and we thought it timely to remind everyone of our purposes. As well offering a welcome to all and a place to meet and chat, funds generously provided go towards paying for use of the hall and supporting local organisations that need extra funding to provide services which benefit our communities. We also support Village Events such as The Jubilee which was free to all. We would like to thank everyone for your continued support.
