The Kingsway Solar website has updated plans which you can read here. A paper copy should also have been delivered to all houses in West Wratting.
The headline is that the area of the proposed solar farm has been increased from 900 hectares to 1500 hectares, with a significant increase in the amount of West Wratting that will be under the solar panels!
Here’s an updated schematic map showing the overall scale of the solar farm.

Zooming-in you can see the new area of solar farm (in blue) extends right up to the back of houses along the high street, so that it almost surrounds us.
The blue area shown here is the newly added part, which belongs to the d’Abo’s estate; it looks like they’re selling up.
Kingsway Solar Ltd will be holding a public information event in West Wratting Village Hall from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday 16th November.
The developers have asked to meet privately with West Wratting Parish Council before their public meeting which we’ll be doing a day or so after our next Parish Council meeting on 11th November (7.30 pm, village hall). We’ll report any new information we receive at that meeting.
