Notice of Election

Election of Parish & Town Councillors for the South Cambridgeshire parishes
and towns listed below. This includes SEVEN Parish Councillors for West Wratting.

1. Forms of nomination for parish or town council elections may be obtained from the Clerk of each Council or South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA from the Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area
   prepare a nomination paper for signature.
2. Nomination papers must be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer, South Cambridgeshire District Council, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA between the hours of 9.00am and 5.30pm on any working day on or after the date of this notice, but by no later than 4.00pm on 9 April 2026. An appointment for
   delivery may be made by emailing elections@scambs.gov.uk.
3. If any area is contested the poll will take place on 7 May 2026.
4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on 20 April 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA by 5.00pm on 21 April 2026.
6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5.00pm on 28 April 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA by 5.00pm on 28 April 2026.
8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA by 5.00pm on 7 May 2026.
