High visibility conmen!

From e-cops 19 Dec:  There is a new kind of scam going on whereby a man knocks the door to say there will be roadwork’s close to the property and apologises for any noise.  He then asks to use the toilet and tries to gain access to look around.  In this case the lady read our sticker, called the police who arrived very quickly and searched the village for the conmen.  The conmen wear yellow high visibility vests/jackets, and are pleasant to speak to, making them believable. Please Do Not let these people in and redirect them to a public toilet or politely refuse.
