Bellringing Open Morning, Brinkley

Church Bell Ringing
Have you ever wanted to try bell ringing? Brinkley, Weston Colville and West Wratting are all looking for new
ringers to join their bands and so we have scheduled an open morning for any potential new ringers: Saturday 20th April,
10 am to 12 noon, at Brinkley Church.
There will be the opportunity to chat to ringers, turn a
bell over (with support), tour the tower and see the
bells and grab a tea, coffee and piece of cake! There
will also be a ringing demonstration during the
morning.
It’s not as easy as just pulling a rope, so come and
find out what its all about! Bell ringing is an ancient
tradition and we’re a friendly bunch – there is a
commitment involved when learning, to be safe, but
you’ll be gaining a great hobby and be transported
into a whole new world of ringing.
