The Wadlow Wind Farm Community Fund is now inviting applications for funding from constituted groups (not individuals), delivering charitable projects with public benefit within a 5 km radius of the Wadlow Wind Farm Site.  Grants will be considered in the range of £100 to £10,000 and can cover a wide range of revenue and capital costs involved in delivering a charitable project.

For consideration at the next panel, in September 2016, an online application should be submitted by 1 August 2016.  Full details and application form can be found on their website:  http://www.cambscf.org.uk/wadlow-wind-farm-community-fund.html

West Wratting representatives on this panel are Colin McCall (290036) and Scilla Harvey (290199).If you have any questions or need help, please contact our representatives or Cambridgeshire Community Foundation who are managing the Fund on info@cambscf.org.uk or 01223 410535.

The first two grants were made to West Wratting in 2012 and another in March 2013.  Click here, here and here for details.

In March 2015 the Wadlow Wind Farm Community Fund came to the rescue of West Wratting Village Hall, when a series of copious leaks announced the end of our extensive flat roof. We are hugely grateful to the Fund for an extraordinarily generous award of £20,000 which, combined with our own funds and a £3,000 contribution from the Parish Council, has enabled us to contract for a high quality modern roof replacement, completed in July 2015.
