Whilst Monday has been named Freedom Day it is clear that we are all far from being out of the woods yet.  However, we are very happy to be able to relax some of the restrictions imposed on us and you will no longer be required to wear a face mask or to check in, although you are most welcome to continue to do so if you wish.

Whilst many of you will have enjoyed table service, it has proved far too labour intensive for our price point so sorry; our feet will be getting a rest, whilst you all return to ordering your drinks at the bar please.

You will be welcome to sit at the bar again, however, should the Public Bar be busy and you prefer to have a little more space whilst ordering, please just go through to the Lounge Bar.  Here you will find that the bar stools have been removed for now and we will continue to provide full table service for all diners who choose to sit inside.

We will be continuing with existing enhanced cleaning procedures and hand sanitiser will continue to be available for your use throughout the premises.  We will also continue to provide more ventilation whilst it is comfortable to do so, and our garden is looking prettier than ever if you prefer to be outside enjoying the sunshine.

Please also note that, having been delivering prescriptions for the last 18 months with much appreciated assistance from Faye & Suan, from Monday we will return to collecting from the surgery three times a week and then holding them here for you to collect during opening hours.  We are open 7 days a week but please note that we aren’t open on Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes.

Finally thank you to everyone who has shown us love and support, it has been such a difficult time for everyone but we are happy to have come through on a sound footing and we are so happy to finally be looking forward again.

Best wishes

Rachel & Peter
