From Jeanette Job (C 290706):  This morning only shoot at Six Mile Bottom is organised by Richard Clarke, on simulated game drives of clays. Proceeds are for the restoration of St Andrews Church in West Wratting.
This is the closest thing to live driven shooting, but with thousands  of targets.  Be prepared to shoot around 3-400 rounds so light loads needed (fibre wad cartridges please).
The charge of £170 per gun may be shared with friends and family – last year there were 3 young guns sharing with parents. Extra food is £10 per head.
Start with a coffee and bacon butty at The Green Man at Six Mile Bottom at about 9 am and, following the shoot, a buffet lunch after. All food and clays are included, but not cartridges or bar drinks.  Guests may stay on at the pub for as long as wished, in the private room (complete with train on table!) at the back of the pub.
