From Jeanette Dennis:  We are again organising a driven clay day raising money for the restoration of our village church in West Wratting. This is an exclusive chance to shoot at Six Mile Bottom, on simulated game drives of clays, organised by Richard Clarke. For those that have done nothing like this before, it is the closest thing to proper driven shooting, only with thousands  of targets – it is nothing like “normal” clay shooting with someone keeping score! You would be likely to shoot around 3-400 rounds so light loads needed.

We are charging £170 per head (held now for 3 years).  For those with youngsters who want to share a gun the price can be split – we will probably be taking Chris our eldest son, and last year there were 4 young guns sharing with parents. Any extra food per extra person has a nominal cost of £10, (if additional son/daughter / friend, etc).

The morning consists of meeting for bacon butty at Green Man at about 9am, and then buffet lunch afterwards. All food and clays included, but not cartridges or bar drinks, and fibre wad cartridges please. The shooting is the morning, and then stay on at the pub for as long as you want afterwards, in the private room (complete with train on table!!) at the back of the pub.

Hope you can join us. Also if you know anyone else (will need to be experienced shot) who is interested please let me know. We can manage up to about 28 guns.
